FINDING COMMUNITY AT BRIGHT CITY

Being the light of Jesus – together.

At Bright City, we want you to experience life-changing community that leaves you more in awe of Jesus and more equipped to shine His light. An abundant spiritual life is lived in fellowship so that you feel known, can know God more profoundly, and feel empowered to know and love those far from God.

No matter your stage of life or schedule, we’ve got a group for you, and they’re broken into three main categories:

DINNER PARTIES

Bright City Dinner Parties create an environment for many people to come together 1-2 times a month for the semester. The purpose of BC Dinner Parties is to foster fun, connection, and community. This is a great group for newcomers to our city, church, or their faith. Participants can contribute potluck-style, order in together, or cook collectively. While gathering for a meal, the discussion will be guided by Bright City-provided-questions that will foster growth in relationships and faith.

FAMILY GROUPS

Bright City Family Groups are a place for individuals looking to foster deep connections with others. These groups should meet weekly or bi-weekly for the semester or year. Participants gather for a meal and engage in conversations with a focus on building relationships with one another and walking out their faith together. The goal is to foster a culture of community and ownership, with a focus on serving quarterly and accommodating all life stages. Family Groups must be led by Bright City Owner(s).

EQUIPPING GROUPS

Bright City Equipping Groups will have a specific study or topic of discussion. These groups can be 4, 8 or 12 weeks depending on the topic. Participants commit to learning and growing through focused sessions. Group Leaders will pick the topic, book, or study and will create an environment for robust discussion. Example: Book Study, TWØTB, Identity & Calling, etc. Bright City Equipping Groups must be led by Bright City Owner(s).
